Combining LightWave3D and
Aura Video Paint along with generous portions of his own determination,
hard work and devotion, Walker is pushing back the limits that
have faced the independent animator. |
|
"I can't for the life of me imagine how I have worked without the use of tablets for so many years. Having this thing changes everything." "NO more
drawing and scanning ... it's so much more powerful and yet feels
so much like the real thing!" |

| "I view what I do as 2D, even though I clearly use 3D elements to speed up the process and accomplish those things otherwise impossible for a one man show ... " T.Walker |
|
| "Much of what shows in the final scene is the result of 2D work, be it painting, compositing or animating in Aura Video Paint." T.Walker |
"Speaking of 2D works, one
of the scenes I have been working on today offered the chance
to get into some very classic 2D cartoon techniques.
Thanks to Aura, once again, even these methods of old can be easily accomplished with a little digital effort." T.Walker
"The challenge was taking ten weeks of lecture-laden presentations and translating them into 10 half hour videos without putting the viewer to sleep," said Kevin Bair, video coordinator for the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office."
"We came up with a concept we felt was a sure winner. Playing off the idea of a 'Justice Academy,' we created four Marvel-type super heroes to guide us through the presentations."
"As a government agency with a limited budget, we never imagined affording professional, high quality animation," Kevin Bair continued. With Studio ArtFX, not only will the animation be better than we expected, but quite possibly this series of videos could set a new trend in government video production. Our law enforcement hats off to STUDIO ARTFX and Terrence Walker."
